I’ve been working for Reach for the last few months, building a new user research function to support their development and publishing of magazines, newspapers and websites.
As usual, I’ve used this as an opportunity to write about user research – this post will be updated to collect blog posts on Reach’s official blog that I have written.
- Building User Research at Reach talks about the first steps we’ve been taking to introduce user research into an organisation unfamiliar with it.
- Creating a robust UX Lab introduces the technology we’ve used to build the user research lab at Reach.
- The two types of research discusses the importance of long-term research to inform product development, combined with usability testing.
- Understanding Reach’s Users describes a diary study that we ran to inform our definition of who and why people read news.
- Building trust in user research describes some principles for new user research teams to build confidence in the quality in their work.
- Running user research during a lockdown covers how a research team can adapt to running user research during a pandemic.
I’m sure there will be more soon…
